Chris Walker

I am a graduate of The Healing Arts And Massage School (THAMS) in Raleigh, NC. My goal as a practitioner is to be a spoke in someone’s wheel of health through massage, bodywork and movement. I believe I can achieve this by collaborating with you, assessing your needs and putting a  plan in place to help you in improving your state of health.

Before I came to massage I began being a personal trainer in college. 29 years later I still love working with individuals to achieve their goals. I have enjoyed training runners, soccer players, basketball players and weekend warriors. I have also taught students at Hillsborough Elementary for 26 years and counting.

In becoming a Massage Therapist, I am continuing to fulfill my goal of helping and encouraging people to be the best they can be. I believe that massage therapy benefits everyone, whether it’s for healing, stress relief, pain management, or general well-being. My modality of choice is lymphatic massage. Lymphatic massage, also known as lymphatic drainage or sports flush, is a light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. This type of massage is not only relaxing, but helps in relieving swelling from injury and/or surgery as well.
